Forty five tsunami victims who arrived in New Zealand on Wednesday night started their day yesterday with a traditional barbecue to thank those who helped them. Their arrival is the result of $17,000 worth of aid given to a Tsunami relief fund operated by the Community Foundation Hawke's Bay. Before they started work on Hawke's Bay orchards the Samoans wanted to show their gratitude for the rapid response to their plight.  

Lanikai Grill Hawaiian BBQ was started in November 2006. Lanikai's menu specializes in the Hawaiian plate lunch. The Hawaiian plate lunch consists of items influenced by Hawaii's immigrant population, brought to Hawaii as laborers in the 1800's to work in the pineapple fields, as well as Indian laborers brought to Fiji by the British.
